Taylor Colvey's Bio

I help natural health seekers who are tired of the conventional medicine approach. I know how frustrating it is to cycle through bloating, brain fog, anxiety, and autoimmune flares. That's why I created my program to help you find energy and peace to live out your purpose. When you work with me, you go from overwhelmed and frustrated to regulated. So you can finally trust your body again.

I have a gift for taking the most overwhelming, complicated topics and making them simple. But I didn’t get here by doing everything right.

For years, I was trapped in the classic cycle: people-pleasing, playing small, overextending my capacity, saying "yes" when I meant "no," and running on empty. I ignored my own boundaries and health symptoms until my body and mind forced me to stop.

I know how frustrating it is to have "wack-a-mole" symptoms. In my early 30's, I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit surgically removed from undiagnosed endometriosis since my teenage years, and loads of back pain from a degenerative disc.

When I hit my 40's, it was:

  • Fatty liver (confirmed on a FibroScan)
  • Hypothyroid (Serum Blood Lab)
  • Weight gain
  • Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (Serum Blood Lab)
  • Food sensitivities (Genetic Test, Serum Blood Lab)
  • Fatigue
  • Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO/IMO) (Bloating, Food Sensitivities, Anxiety)
  • Small Intestinal Fungal Overgrowth (SIFO) (Brain Fog)

When I looked for answers, I found a mix of health institutions (both conventional and integrative), some full of heart and genuine care, and others full of synthetic quick fixes, overcomplicated protocols, and generic formulas designed to sell you another pill.

That was my turning point. I realized that if I wanted real healing, I had to become a generational rebel. I had to stop the cycle of women burning themselves out for everyone else, and I refused to keep showing up to one-sided systems that profit off us staying overwhelmed, exhausted, and chronically sick.

That fierce, rebellious conviction drove me to strip away the noise and focus entirely on a single, all-natural, root-cause solution.

I don't show up as perfect, but now I am fiercely protective of my energy and boundaries. I built a simplified, biology-based strategy specifically for people who are tired of piecemealing solutions for their chronic gut-brain-autoimmune symptoms:

  • Fatigue & Brain Fog

  • Autoimmune Conditions

  • Gut Dysbiosis, SIBO, IBS & Digestive Issues (Bloating, Food Sensitivities, Constipation)

  • Anxiety & Nervous System Dysregulation

My mission is to give you the exact clarity and grounded frameworks you need to catch burnout, reclaim your physical capacity, and thrive on your own terms.

Taylor Colvey

M.A + National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor

Taylor is a Clinical Counseling Trainee turned Certified Functional Nutritional Counselor and Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, dedicated to helping clients strengthen the foundations of their gut-brain-immune health naturally.

As a Clinical Counseling Trainee, she saw how many of her clients lacked the foundations of physical health. This led her to further her training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Counseling and later become certified in both Health and Wellness Coaching and Functional Nutrition. Trauma-Informed Care is critical because trauma/overwhelm can significantly influence nervous system regulation, gut health, immune function, and chronic disease risk, which is why she focuses on these areas with her clients.

She grew up on three acres in North County San Diego with an organic lemon grove and a love for fresh, whole foods from her mother’s garden. This upbringing shaped her belief in nature's brilliance and the body's natural ability to heal.

She currently teaches Health & Wellness Coach trainees through UCSD's Extension Program.

Taylor is an active yogi and salsa dancer. She lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 18 years and now lives with her husband in Ocean Beach, CA, where they enjoy hiking, traveling, and seeing live music.
